Jennifer Delich has a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics, a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and is presently working toward a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages as well as a Certificate in Computational Linguistics. Currently, Jennifer works in ESL lesson development for online applications. She has also taught ESL in the virtual world of Second Life since 2011. Before this, she taught ESL in a California private school for over two years and was an administrative assistant and writing coach at the San Jose State University Language Development Center. Jennifer’s academic interests include Second Language Acquisition Theory, Identity Theory, Cultural Anthropology, Intercultural Communication, and Digital Applications for Language Acquisition. In her former work life, Jennifer was a sous chef, working enthusiastically in the restaurant industry. Her hobbies include belly dance, yoga, culinary experimentation, and beer making.
